Riddle has a message for Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre

Matt Riddle is certainly one of the most promising and interesting young wrestlers in WWE. During an interview with the microphones of Catch Off, together with colleagues Philippe Chereau and Christophe Agius, he talked about many themes, from his dream match at Wrestlemania to the colleagues he esteems most on the main roster.

Several times in the past the former NXT wrestler has reiterated that he wants to challenge Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania and also in this interview he revealed that this is one of his greatest dreams of him as a wrestler.

In addition, The Original Bro spoke of his particular admiration for two WWE wrestlers. Here are the words of him: "Right now I can say that broadly in WWE there are two of the greatest wrestlers, that is Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

They are two well-groomed superstars, truly trained and with the most personality on the main roster. I think a win over either of them, maybe at Wrestlemania, would take me to the next level. Who would I face of the two? Well, I think WWE Champion Drew McIntyre because he's a guy I like and with that Scottish accent."

In recent weeks, word has been spreading that Riddle has not yet renewed his WWE contract, but these statements of his could testify to how he actually feels like a full protagonist in Vince McMahon's federation.

Roman Reigns vs.

Drew McIntyre

Matt Riddle has faced the two athletes in an Elimination Match at the Survivor Series and in the Royal Rumble 2020. He has never faced Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns in a 1 vs 1 match. At this moment both the WWE Champion and the Universal Champion are engaged in other interesting segments: on the one hand at SmackDown Roman Reigns has been dominating for some time and at the Royal Rumble he will challenge Kevin Owens for the umpteenth time and on the other, there is instead Drew McIntyre who will challenge the returning Bill Goldberg for the title.

The WWE Champion has been stationary for weeks after testing positive for Coronavirus but should return, barring surprises, in the next episode of Monday Night Raw. Before Riddle gets to face Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre, WWE’s two male World Champions have some unfinished business from Survivor Series 2020.

The final match of the night saw Reigns defeat McIntyre thanks to the assistance of his cousin, Jey Uso. It is currently unclear if and when a rematch between the two men will take place. Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens (Universal Championship) and Drew McIntyre vs. Goldberg (WWE Championship) are scheduled for next week’s WWE Royal Rumble event.
