Former WWE writer unhappy with one major aspect of Drew McIntyre's character

In the last episode of Monday Night Raw, after two weeks of absence caused by Coronavirus positivity, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is back on the scene. The latter, after explaining the situation and the symptoms experienced during the illness, spoke in view of next Sunday's clash at the Royal Rumble where he will challenge Bill Goldberg for the title.

After a verbal confrontation with Da Man, the two wrestlers teamed up momentarily to fight the annoying duo of The Miz and John Morrison; there was no challenge but the two wrestlers hit their opponents, Goldberg hitting The Miz with a Spear and Drew McIntyre killing Morrison with a Claymore Kick.

The WWE Champion is back on Raw and as always is now one of the main characters of the red show. Former Raw Creative Team member Vince Russo commented on a situation regarding the champion, something he accomplished in recent months and he doesn't like it done.

In the course of his entry into the show, Drew McIntyre presents a sword, sword of the champion that Russo has particularly criticized. Here are the words of the former creative during Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of Raw: "From all I understand, this sword is a gift from Triple H and Stephanie to Vince McMahon.

It's Vince's sword and it shows everything he is. This idea belongs only to him! In their heads, Vince McMahon was thought of as Braveheart, the story of Braveheart and following this Vince gave the sword to the champion.

The problem is that I don't understand what this has to do with Drew, he shows the sword but when will he ever use it? Will there be wrestling matches where he uses the sword? Braveheart uses the sword in battle, but I don't understand how and when it can be used by Drew.

This is the real problem and it shows how in the end these guys can't go their own way, but Vince does everything on their own." Drew McIntyre opened this week's WWE RAW and cut a promo on Goldberg. McIntyre vowed to retain the WWE Championship this Sunday at the WWE Royal Rumble.

He was interrupted by The Miz and John Morrison. The Miz teased that he was going to cash-in the Money In The Bank contract after McIntyre's match against Goldberg at the Royal Rumble. Goldberg's music hit at this point and he came down to the ring to stare down Drew McIntyre.

The Miz and John Morrison tried to goad Goldberg and McIntyre to fight each other. Instead, Goldberg hit The Miz with a Spear and Drew McIntyre took out John Morrison with a Claymore Kick.
