No. 1 and No. 2 entrants in Men's Royal Rumble revealed

The first episode of WWE Backstage, back in vogue after a long time, has left its first signs, with the huge announcements that had to be present in the episode that in the end there were, although they were not all those that were advertised by FOX on the eve of the event.

In the episode of the reborn FOX broadcast, with Renee Young, Paige and Booker T as usual, three names of athletes were announced who will enter both the Royal Rumble, both male and female, complete with a match of qualification aired right in the night, on an unusual Saturday for WWE Universe fans.

Seeing the advertisements on the eve of WWE Backstage, fans were convinced to see who would enter with the number 30 in the real male fight, but in reality on the microphones and in front of the cameras of the WWE secondary broadcast, the management just wanted to announce the numbers 1 and 2 of the men's Royal Rumble, thinking back to the initial announcement which was to name the number 30 instead.

Randy Orton and Edge's road to the Royal Rumble

The two athletes who will start the men's Rumble will be none other than Randy Orton and Edge. The two wrestlers will thus return to battle after their feud interrupted by the arm injury suffered by the Rated R Superstar in the Backlash match, with the Hall of Famer that will surely return more fierce than ever against his arch-enemy, The Viper.

During the evening, moreover, WWE and FOX also broadcast a match between friends Tamina Snuka and Natalya, with the winner who would have entered instead of right with the number 30 in her own Rumble, with Natalya who managed to bring herself to a home victory in a very grueling match, as the two athletes know each other well in the ring.

So now we have the first three issues of the Royal Rumble, with the first two of the male one and the last one of the female one, which is already putting a lot of hype to the fans of the company. Orton has been doing some of the best work of his WWE career recently.

It started right after the 2020 Royal Rumble after he attacked his friend, Edge on the following episode of RAW. The two battled it out at WrestleMania 36 and Backlash. Edge is a sentimental favorite due to his story of redemption and ending his career on his own terms.

Orton has tried to stop that from happening and Edge suffered an injury during their match at Backlash. Since then, however, the Viper has been embroiled in an ongoing feud with both the Fiend, Bray Wyatt, and Alexa Bliss.
