Two of the absolute protagonists of the latest WWE shows, starting from the Royal Rumble onwards, are definitely the Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny and his great friend Damian Priest, who in recent weeks has made his official leap into the main roster rings, after debuting in the men's 30-man Rumble at the end of January.
From the Rumble onwards, Priest and Bunny have in fact coalesced on the WWE rings, carrying on a feud against The Miz and John Morrison, with the two faces that from different sources close to WWE, should join forces also at Wrestlemania 37, where a tag team match will be staged against the two heels of Monday Night Raw.
Also this week, both Priest and Bunny were the protagonists of an important segment played backstage in the episode of the WWE flag show, which even saw a change of title in favor of the Puerto Rican-born singer. While engaged in an interview backstage on Monday Night Raw, Damian Priest and Bad Bunny witnessed a brief fight behind them, which saw Akira Tozawa, who had just pinned R-Truth, come out the winner.
so for the umpteenth time the 24/7 Championship of the McMahon company.
R-Truth is fine with Bad Bunny being the new WWE 24/7 Champion
Without thinking twice, Damian Priest caught the Japanese on the fly, throwing him at one of the trunks parked in the backstage, which are used to transport the props, with the Japanese who in fact went to the mat in a second.
Bad Bunny thought about pinning the Japanese to win the green and gold title of the WWE under the encouragement of his friend Priest, with the rapper who thus won his very first title in the WWE shows, in front of R-Truth incredulous and still quite stunned from the previous blow.
We will see now how long the very first title reign of Bad Bunny will last within the WWE scenes and especially if someone tries to attack him, once alongside the mammoth former North-American Champion of NXT, which certainly is not a goal that many athletes within Raw's mid-carding want to tackle.
R-Truth's name has become synonymous with the WWE 24/7 Championship. This comes as no surprise considering the fact that he is a 49-time 24/7 Champion. However, Truth does not seem to be too bothered by the fact that he lost his "baby" to Akira Tozawa, who eventually lost the title to Bad Bunny.
Instead, R-Truth is feeling quite fine about losing the title and even requested Bad Bunny to take care of it. The reason being that the 24/7 Championship will be getting some publicity when Bad Bunny makes his appearance on Saturday Night Live.
