NXT star Finn Balor wants to face Randy Orton

WWE NXT Champion Finn Balor is having an incredible adventure as a champion, he has challenged great opponents and looks ready for incredible new challenges. Speaking on After The Bell, Finn Balor was asked which superstar on the main roster he would ever want to challenge.

Here are the words of the champion: "I think we could all learn a lot from Randy Orton. I know my thinking is particular, many would like me to name Kevin Owens or that I would like a challenge with Ricochet but the reality is that I believe that the Legend Killer is the perfect rival to take NXT to the next level, I believe it could bring a different effect on people in the locker room, in the ring, on his professionalism and his experience."

Finn Balor also wants to face Kevin Owens or Samoa Joe on NXT

Finn Balor's idea is seen as fascinating but at the same time quite complicated. WWE is unlikely to move a top-tier superstar like The Viper by transferring him from Raw to NXT although, it must be said, anything is possible in the world of pro wrestling.

For several months now, Randy Orton has been engaged in a gigantic feud against The Fiend Bray Wyatt: the two have challenged each other on several occasions and Randy has literally 'burned alive' in the Pay per View of TLC the Demon of the company of Vince McMahon.

From that moment on, however, Alexa Bliss, friend and partner of Bray, who in the last episodes has repeatedly attacked and teased the Legend Killer, has taken the place of The Fiend in a particular role. In the last episode of Monday Night Raw Randy Orton, who, at the next Elimination Chamber, will challenge several opponents in addition to champion Drew McIntyre for the title of WWE Champion, was involved in a Gauntlet Match and during the battle against Drew McIntyre was just The Goddess of the WWE to intervene and appearing on the maxi screens to 'enter' Orton's head with a sort of psychological games.

The feud between the parties seems far from over and also for this reason a landing of Randy Orton at WWE NXT appears complicated. Finn Balor also spoke about his desire to face Kevin Owens or Samoa Joe in the future on NXT.

"If I could get a run with Kevin Owens, if I could get a run with Samoa Joe, oh my god, that would be incredible." Owens is currently on SmackDown and appeared for one match on NXT at TakeOver: WarGames, while Joe is on RAW and is a commentator on the Red brand.
