Paul Heyman is currently managing Roman Reigns and he recently sent a message on Talking Smack. Roman Reigns is currently the WWE Universal Champion. The Winner of the Elimination Chamber will be able to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 37.
“Ladies and gentlemen, it’s fight week; it’s fight weekend. You have the rare opportunity to see in action a legend, a once-in-a-lifetime champion, the standard-bearer in WWE, Roman Reigns,” Heyman began. “‘The Tribal Chief’ himself will defend the Universal Championship tomorrow at Elimination Chamber against the winner of that very chamber. The winner of that very chamber, a man who can display such — politically incorrect word — violence that he not only survives but thrives inside the chamber beats whoever is surviving and emerges as the victor. What happens then?"
Paul Heyman Gives a Message to Fans Ahead of Elimination Chamber
Then, Heyman said, “Then, that man gets to step into the ring for the Universal Championship less than two months outside of WrestleMania against Roman Reigns. The entire complexion of WWE can change this weekend … There is no WWE without Roman Reigns. There is no SmackDown without Roman Reigns. There is no RAW without Roman Reigns. There is no NXT without Roman Reigns. We all exist because of Roman Reigns. He is the sun that we all orbit around. We’ve got the juice [and] we’ve got the stroke. We’ve got the power and influence around here.”
Roman Reigns also stood in the ring with Edge this week. Edge is the winner of this year’s Royal Rumble match. He still hasn’t decided which champion he will face at WrestleMania 37. He will have to make his decision at the WWE Elimination Chamber. Edge kicked off the show. Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman came to the ring during that segment. However, nothing really happened, and Roman Reigns whispered something in Edge’s ear before leaving the ring. However, at the end of the show, a big brawl took place. The brawl involved the team of Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens and Cesaro vs Jey Uso, King Corbin and Sami Zayn. Edge came out to get involved in the brawl and speared Uso. Roman Reigns then came out and speared Edge. The show ended with Edge on the canvas.
