Former WWE writer unhappy with WWE's likely plan for Brock Lesnar

The Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber went on file with many twists that caught the attention of the spectators. Some decisions were not welcomed by the WWE Universe, perhaps due to the excessive frenzy in the execution of some segments.

The ending of both pay-per-view instead left everyone stunned, opening up new intriguing scenarios in view of WrestleMania 37 (which will take place over two evenings with the presence of a slice of the public in the arena).

In the latest episode of his now-famous show, former WWE writer Vince Russo admitted he didn't like the creative choices made by Vince McMahon's company. Just to give an example, Christian learned of him entering the Royal Rumble match just 48 hours before the event.

Former WWE Writer Vince Russo spoke on SK Wrestling’s Writing with Russo. The veteran talked about Paul Heyman and his role with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. Russo pointed out that the only reason Heyman has been paired with Reigns is to act like a 'bridge' for a storyline with Brock Lesnar upon his return.

“You have to learn to separate the multi-million dollar deals that WWE pulls off with creative choices. They are two very different aspects. I am referring only to the creative part. It all seemed so chaotic, they had no idea what they were doing!

It is not conceivable that Christian was called only on Friday evening to participate in the Royal Rumble scheduled for that same Sunday”- analyzed Russo.

According to the latter, WWE should already begin preparing the ground for the return to the ring of Brock Lesnar, considered almost certain by most insiders.

“I don't think they don't know what Brock Lesnar's future is. Will he come back to fight? When will he return? My thought is that we will see him again in WWE. If my answer is correct, the table must be set well before that happens.

I'm 99% sure Brock will be back. If they know he will be back and they also know when they need to start preparing for that event. They have to tell a story, not just rely on Lesnar's charisma and overwhelming power ”- he added.

The Beast's last official appearance dates back to WrestleMania 36 when he relinquished the WWE title to Drew McIntyre. Vince Russo was unhappy at the way WWE has played out the story and feels that Heyman has overstayed his welcome with The Tribal Chief and WWE needs to pull the trigger with a Lesnar vs Reigns storyline already.

“He [Heyman] has not done anything to advance the Reigns character. He’s only there as the bridge to Brock. Well, bro, if he’s there as the bridge to Brock, can we start laying that foundation?”
