Adam Cole wants dream match with 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer

Adam Cole is considered by fans and insiders to be one of the best fighters currently around and it is for this reason that Triple H decided to make him land at NXT in 2017, after a long period spent in Ring of Honor. From that year forward, Cole became one of the absolute stars of the yellow show, winning all possible titles within the yellow show and forming the Undisputed Era.

A stable that until a few months ago seemed united to the end and indestructible, but which has sensationally dissolved in TakeOver Vengeance. Cole has in fact decided to rage first against Kyle O'Reilly, unleashing the panic of fans on social media, and then against Roderick Strong, making his decisions to continue in single very clear.

Meanwhile, the WWE on Fox Twitter account asked fans to choose their dream match, and Adam Cole also wanted to say about him, mentioning the one and only Shawn Michaels.

Adam Cole turned heel and ended The Undisputed Era on NXT

The former NXT Champion has been repeatedly compared to Shawn Michaels of the heyday due to his look and athletic skills, but a meeting between the two seems somewhat unlikely.

After the debacle of Crown Jewel in 2018, in fact, the Heartbreak Kid has definitively closed the doors to his return to the ring, leaving room for the new generations and dedicating himself to the role of producer of NXT UK.

In addition to overseeing the UK show, HBK was repeatedly seen giving advice to NXT youths backstage with his longtime friend, Triple H. Adam Cole and Shawn Michaels had previously come to blows on a show in San Antonio, where they hit each other with superkicks.

On that occasion, Cole faced then NXT Champion Drew McIntyre, while Shawn held the role of special referee. Most likely it was the first and only physical confrontation between the two. In the meantime, all that remains is to understand what plans the WWE has for Adam Cole and if he can somehow re-enter the NXT titled scene, perhaps even fighting at WrestleMania.

The former NXT Champion essentially brought an end to the faction known as The Undisputed Era on this week's episode of the black and gold brand. Cole ended the show by taking out Finn Balor and then his teammate, Roderick Strong, to stand tall yet again.

The Panama City Playboy took out Kyle O'Reilly with a vicious assault a few weeks ago. Cole made his intentions clear by stating that he wants to be NXT Champion once again and is willing to take out his best friends to reach the goal.
