In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE has as always dedicated many surprises to its fans, with reversals, title changes and new scenarios for flagship storylines, which have left literally all members of the WWE Universe in the world thrilled.
If in the main event Bobby Lashley won his first-ever WWE title, defeating The Miz and if during the evening Randy Orton instead met his dark twin with demonic powers, a new scenario also seems to involve the currently most important women of the red show: Asuka and Charlotte Flair.
After weeks of the storyline as allies, with the two who for a short time also held the belts of couple champions of the WWE women's category, in the last two weeks between Charlotte and Asuka it would not be bad blood, with the daughter of the Nature Boy which would also have hit the Japanese in a fortuitous way in their last match which took place in the ring of the red show.
Although the Japanese champion of Raw was absent for this episode of the red show due to the injury suffered last week to the mouth, apparently the management of the WWE would still have wanted to stage a novelty for her storyline, with the former ally Charlotte Flair, who in fact went to challenge Asuka to a match for WrestleMania 37.
Charlotte Flair wants to face Asuka
After seeing the feud with Lacey Evans, who got pregnant, closed in advance, with the announcement a few days ago and then ousted from any kind of plan by the WWE, Charlotte Flair immediately threw herself headlong into her challenge for WrestleMania, with the daughter of the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, who in fact challenged Asuka with a promo held on Raw.
Although the Japanese was absent from the episode, to recover from her injury, Charlotte confirmed how she will return to talk about it face to face with the Japanese, once back in the ring. After Lacey Evans and her father Ric left the scene, Flair thus seems to aim straight for WrestleMania, without even going through Fastlane, the next PPV that the company will stage on the 21st of this month.
For WrestleMania, there are four possibilities in the RAW Women's Division that seem more high-stakes than any other outcome: Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley; Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair; Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss; Asuka vs. Becky Lynch. The above possibilities will only stay relevant if Asuka remains the champion till WrestleMania.
At the moment, Charlotte seems to be the clear number one contender. But things can drastically change on the Road to WWE WrestleMania 37.
