After what happened on the Smackdown side of the WWE, where it seems that Daniel Bryan is the designated opponent for yet another match valid for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship, with the next episode of the blue show that will be decisive for the leader of the Yes Movement, who will face Jey Uso in a Steel Cage match, even on the Raw side it looks like WWE is building something for the next PPV before Wrestlemania: Fastlane.
In the last big appointment that goes from now to the Showcase of the Immortals, in fact, WWE could still stage many surprises, given that Fastlane is also the first PPV to be staged on the Peacock tv portal, in America, which will be the new home of the WWE Network for all overseas subscribers.
According to many insiders, in fact, WWE will continue to put a lot of meat on the fire, just as happened at Elimination Chamber, to ensure that fans remain satisfied with the product, even on the new channel that broadcasts the McMahon-owned product.
WWE only has a few weeks until Fastlane
After what happened on Raw, with the pair champion of the federation, Nia Jax, who beat her opponent Naomi, it seems that the management has decided to continue their internal feud, going to clash the two teams also in the next PPV that is scheduled for March 21st or some other neighboring date.
As reported in his latest update by Dave Meltzer to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter microphones, in fact: "Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are going to fight for the titles against Lana and Naomi, God only knows when, probably in pay-per-view, maybe on Raw in a few weeks."
Although the two champions already have a titled challenge scheduled with the winners of the very first edition of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in the female version, or the NXT athletes Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, WWE seems to have even more plans in the main roster for the two unstoppable Raw athletes, with a new titled match that could thus have already spoiled the outcome of the NXT match against the athletes of the yellow roster.
Since its introduction in 2015, WWE Fastlane has become the traditional "final stop" on the road to WrestleMania. Because of its proximity to the Showcase of the Immortals, the matches that take place at Fastlane often have major ramifications for that year's WrestleMania card.
Though the event doesn't have a long history, Fastlane has featured several memorable matches. As the stage for everything from title changes to (supposedly) The Shield's last stand, the show has established itself as a crucial pay-per-view.
