In the last episode of Monday Night Raw, after a long chase (which lasted 17 years), Bobby Lashley beat (also quite easily) The Miz in a Lumberjack Match in the red show's Main Event and took the title of WWE Champion.
The All Mighty got this opportunity, in fact, at Elimination Chamber where he brutally attacked former champion Drew McIntyre and thus favored the title victory thanks to the collection of the briefcase by The Miz. In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, the wrestler, member of the Hurt Business, had his chance and won the title.
Drew McIntyre's advice to Bobby Lashley comes from personal experience
After about ten days of absence, The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre also returned to the ring, who challenged and beaten after a long and hard-fought match by now-former friend Sheamus.
The former WWE Champion won the match and now WWE's plans also seem to be heading towards a titan clash for the title between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. Speaking to Raw Talk's microphones Drew McIntyre wanted to send a message to the new WWE Champion.
Here are his words: "I'll give good old Lashley some advice. As someone who has been a champion for a long time, I can say there are a lot of pressures that come with being a champion. It shows The Miz who lost the title pretty fast, I'm sure he was awake every single night after I stole my title.
Anxiety, alarm clock, a ringing phone and vibrations, tonight he tried in every way not to play this match and I must say that I don't think he is as worried as The Miz, but he has to be careful. It happens that you surround yourself with friends and that they start to be jealous.
Suddenly they want what you have. Watch your back from your friends, I'm sending you these free tips." The story that Drew McIntyre obviously refers to is that of Sheamus, a former friend with whom he has ruined relations.
Drew McIntyre speaks from experience when he tells Lashley to keep an eye out for his friends. McIntyre himself is currently embroiled in a feud with his former best friend, Sheamus. The two put on a superb match to kick off tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW.
The Scottish Warrior emerged victorious but did not come out of the match without some bruises. Both men left it all in the ring, but the feud is far from over.
