The last three hours of WWE programming dedicated to the Monday Night Raw roster have been a real whirlwind of emotions, with WWE Universe fans connected from home who understood little and nothing during the airing of the episode of the show flag of the company, for the myriad of news and announcements made during the evening.
If before going on stage the WWE had already confirmed that Bobby Lashley's opponent for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 37 will be the former titleholder, Drew McIntyre, during the evening of Raw we then saw two title changes, with Bad Bunny and Hurt Business having sold their belts to R-Truth and New Day respectively, with three new champions starting their umpteenth reign in the red show ring.
If all this were not enough, WWE also wanted to finish building the card for the company's next PPV, Fastlane, which will air this Sunday 21 March and which will be the last big event before the Showcase of the Immortals.
With several official announcements, WWE has therefore put another important piece in its Road to Wrestlemania, going to confirm some very important challenges that will be broadcast at Fastlane.
WWE Fastlane is this Sunday
The first confirmed match is the one between the son of WWE Chairman, Shane McMahon and the bearded giant of Raw, Braun Strowman, with the two who initially seemed to be able to compete directly in Wrestlemania and with the idea of the WWE that was instead to anticipate the dispute, after yet another attack by Shane against the Monster Among Men already on Raw, where Shane physically attacked and then morally demolished Braun, submerging him in some quite disgusting green liquid.
The WWE then did not want to stop and with a master stroke wanted to confirm another great match to scream for Fastlane, namely the one between Alexa Bliss and Randy Orton, with the supporter of The Fiend who, in fact, challenged to a no better specified face to face in that of Fastlane, just The Viper, with a very disturbing promo of the girl, who asked Orton to "force her out" from his life, if he no longer wanted her around.
Paul Heyman led Roman Reigns to a Universal Title reign that is still going strong. He was also instrumental in bringing Jey Uso into the fold, but there’s more than one Uso. Jimmy Uso has been out of action for a year with an injury.
This caused WWE to bench the highly-decorated tag team. Then Heyman and Reigns found a great use for Jey Uso while Jimmy was injured. During Talking Smack, Paul Heyman dropped a big tease that Jimmy Uso is ready to return. After all, there are two Usos in the set.
“Jey Uso, look at Jey Uso. He’s not just Main Event Jey Uso, he’s not just the right-hand man, he’s practically a secret service agent for Roman Reigns, for The Tribal Chief, for the end-all-be-all, for The Head of the Table, for the Universal Heavyweight Champion, for the main event of WrestleMania… which is why this morning I mentioned you.
If you’re tired of it, if you want to protect that Championship reign, there is more than one Uso, and services are available”.
