In one of the longest storylines that WWE has been carrying out since last year, that is the one that sees Randy Orton and The Fiend wage war since November, there was a sensational twist tonight in Fastlane, in that which was supposed to be a match between the Legend Killer and Monday Night Raw's demon adept Alexa Bliss.
After setting fire to the alter ego of Bray Wyatt, in fact, Randy Orton was sure that the Fiend would no longer attack him, feeling now quite safe and therefore going to challenge Alexa Bliss in a real match in that of the last PPV WWE before Wrestlemania 37.
Just this night, in fact, Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss were inserted by the federation in an intergender match, which started immediately with a bang, with the beautiful and scary Alexa who let Orton chase her around the ring, while she hit him with all his "tricks", like throwing fireballs or falling spotlights from the top of the ThunderDome.
The Fiend made his long-awaited return at WWE Fastlane
Just during tonight's match, a Randy Orton quite annoyed by the escapes of the beautiful Alexa would have at some point decided to attack the friend of The Fiend, but found himself in a situation that he would never have imagined, namely the presence of a hand.
sticking out of the ring mat, which blocked him for a few seconds, then revealed himself to be the hand of the Fiend. To come out from under the ring of Fastlane, it was in fact the demon of Monday Night Raw, the Fiend, which was theoretically burned to death in the Firefly Inferno match of TLC, when Randy Orton had set it on fire, with gasoline and a match.
After months of silence and uncertainty, The Fiend thus reappeared with his face and body completely burned, with the wrestler who went to hit Randy Orton with his Sister Abigail, allowing the victory of his friend Alexa Bliss.
It now seems clear, how at Wrestlemania 37 there will finally be the definitive face to face between Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt / The Fiend, after months and months of feuding, which have been carried out in the best way by Alexa Bliss, which now will be done aside after the return of his mentor.
Monday Night RAW's demonic duo reunited at WWE Fastlane, which has become a trending topic of conversation among members of the WWE Universe, as expected. The intergender match's events provided some answers but also raised a few important questions for the future of this storyline.
Also, The Fiend's return seemingly added more weight to the obvious rumors that he will have a match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37.
