In the last episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE continued to put a lot of meat on the fire, changing plans for the Showcase of the Immortals, inserting new contests in the two cards dedicated to the most important show of the year and also changing the stipulation to one of the previously announced matches of the show.
If on the one hand, we have witnessed the resounding dissolution of The Hurt Business, which arrived a bit like a bolt from the blue, although there have already been some hints in the past few weeks to very evident internal problems among the team members, on the other hand, WWE simply continued to pull the strings of disputes already announced officially or unofficially, confirming the matches that had been in the air for some time.
It was announced last week on WWE RAW that Shane McMahon will face Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 37. On 29th March, a stipulation was added to the match when The Monster Among Men announced that he will face McMahon inside a steel cage.
Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman's rivalry on WWE RAW
After starting a somewhat strange and raised feud, the son of the WWE Chairman and the bearded giant of Monday Night Raw only confirmed last week that the two will have a definitive one-on-one at the Showcase of the Immortals, with Braun Strowman, however, wanting to play it safe this week by finding a stipulation from which Shane McMahon cannot escape.
Since in recent weeks Strowman and Shane have been playing cat and mouse, with the giant former Wyatt Family who has done nothing but chase the son of the Chairman far and wide through the rings and the backstage of the ThunderDome, in the last episode aired last night, Braun confirmed that their contest in WrestleMania will be a Steel Cage match, from which Shane will therefore not be able to escape from the clutches of his opponent.
In addition to this change of stipulation, in the last episode of the red show, WWE also confirmed how Riddle, who became the protagonist of a very embarrassing backstage segment where he completely forgot his script, will go to face Sheamus in a match.
valid for his US title, it is not yet known whether in the first or second evening of the show. McMahon started his rivalry with Strowman a few weeks ago on the red show by making fun of the big man's intelligence, repeatedly calling him "stupid."
Eventually, a match between the two stars was announced for Fastlane. However, on the night of the show, McMahon suffered a "knee injury" during his pre-match training and the match was called off.
