Former WWE writer doesn't want Shane McMahon to take a big bump at WrestleMania

In the last few weeks, we have seen several times a particular segment that was staged on Monday Night Raw where Shane McMahon, son of WWE Chairman Vince, just teased or otherwise made nasty comments or throws themselves on the strong and mighty wrestler of the red show.

Braun Strowman. As was quite predictable, things (and the storyline) have led the two to clash and in the last few days, it has been announced that at WrestleMania the two will face each other in the so-called showdown. During the last episode of Monday Night Raw the son of the WWE owner again insulted The Monster Among Us by claiming that he had given the wrestler grades, all of them bad.

Subsequently, the wrestler was the protagonist of a match won against Jaxson Riker, Shane McMahon and Elias attacked him but Braun still had the better and at the end of the meeting Strowman announced that the two will even compete in a Steel Cage Match.

Shane McMahon will face Braun Strowman inside a steel cage at WrestleMania

During today's edition of this week's Legion of Raw by Sportkeeda Wrestling, former Raw creative team member Vince Russo commented on this segment by Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman.

Here are his words about it: "After what happened on Raw I will immediately call Shane McMahon. For two years he continues to do stupid things with these matches, but now he will even fight in the cage. I don't understand why he wants to continue until he really gets hurt.

Maybe he thinks he is 34 but in reality, he is not, by now he is quite old too. What is he going to do now? Jumping out of the cage, colliding with it and overcoming it? I really can't understand the point and what he wants to do."

Initially, the challenge between Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon was to be played first in the Pay Per View of Fastlane and then on Monday Night Raw, but Shane continued to tell that he has a problem with his injured knee and in the end, it was reached WrestleMania 37 with Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman who will compete on the show of the year.

Braun Strowman got to pick the stipulation for his match against Shane McMahon at WrestleMania. We found out last night on RAW that Strowman had chosen a steel cage match. This had been preceded on the night by Shane McMahon putting up Braun Strowman's 'report card' on the Titantron for the WWE Universe to see.

The report card segment was followed by Strowman facing Jaxson Ryker in singles action, with Shane and Elias at ringside. Strowman quickly won the match before chasing Shane around the ring and back inside.
