In the course of a recent interview with Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportkeeda Wrestling, former wrestler John Cena Sr. told several anecdotes about his career and launched into a very interesting story. During the interview, John Cena Sr revealed which wrestlers he most admired in WWE history and blatantly explained (maybe even sarcastically) that he is not his son on this list.
Here are his words about it: "First of all I mean, who says my son is my favorite wrestler? Actually, I have quite a few favorite wrestlers before and in this list, I think Edge and Randy Orton first and foremost. Then when I was young I was able to face him and see him, I'm talking about Bruno Sammartino who I consider one of the greatest.
Then there's Chief Jay Strongbow, another great wrestler I've had the opportunity to see in action, these are the wrestlers who made wrestling such and I pretty much think they're all the best there. Another one I think is Ric Flair, a wrestler I admire so much.
I've done several shows with him and he's an exceptional man, I think without the health problems he had, we could still see him in the ring today." Returning to Randy Orton, John Cena Sr explained: "I have known Randy for almost two decades and can talk about his skills in the ring and his great talent.
I listened to his interview with Stone Cold Steve Austin and there is an honest look at it 'man I know." John Cena Sr. recently revealed who should induct John Cena into the WWE Hall of Fame when the in-ring veteran eventually gets in.
