In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, a decision left the entire WWE Universe totally amazed. After months of Stable showing great growth and increasingly appearing to be at the top of WWE, The Hurt Business has dramatically disbanded.
WWE Champion and CEO of this Stable Bobby Lashley had harsh words for the members of the company, the now ex-mates Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. They not only lost the recent duo match against New Day but also lost the two-on-one match against Drew McIntyre's The Scottish, which will lead the latter to challenge Lashley for the title.
Shortly after he officially dissolved his Stable Bobby Lashley faced Shelton Benjamin in a 1 vs 1 match and easily annihilated him. Probably next week he will challenge Cedric Alexander and Lashley commented: "The deadweight is gone.
Cedric Alexander keeps talking about that *****, you can do it too. Opportunities like these don't always arise and the Raw roster manages their business better. "Bobby Lashley made it clear that the bounty for 'injuring' Drew McIntyre before Wrestlemania 37 is still open.
The two in the last few weeks have launched arrows and the feud is now open, this was yet another signal in view of the match to be held in Tampa in the two evenings scheduled for Wrestlemania 37, or the next 10 and 11 April.
The Hurt Business: Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush were together for a brief period
After 17 years and a very long wait, Bobby Lashley recently took the title of WWE Champion. First, the wrestler helped The Miz cash in the briefcase at Elimination Chamber, destroying Drew McIntyre post-race and thus helping The A-Lister win the title again after so many years.
The next day on Raw Lashley he beat The Miz in a Lumberjack Match and became WWE Champion. Bobby Lashley engaged in a full-fledged feud with Finn Balor over the WWE Intercontinental title in early 2019. The duo traded the prestigious belt on the road to WrestleMania 35 and Balor finally defeated Lashley at The Show of Shows to capture the title.
Lashley's association with Rush came to an end following WrestleMania 35 and Rush went on an imposed sabbatical amidst reports of him having backstage heat. Bobby Lashley didn't do much of note for around a year following his separation from Rush.
Lashley aligned with MVP soon after WrestleMania 36 and the duo formed The Hurt Business on WWE RAW. What are your thoughts on Bobby Lashley wanting to bring back Lio Rush? Would you like to see him return to WWE TV and become a part of The Hurt Business?
