In the last few weeks, the feud between Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon, one of the most interesting of the red show, has certainly held the bench within the Monday Night Raw show. The company has been criticized several times, both via social media and in general by the WWE Universe for the attitude held towards Strowman with Shane McMahon who literally 'bullied' The Monster Among Men.
Regarding this storyline that has been going on for weeks now, Vince Russo, a former member of the Raw creative team commented on the situation as follows: "It's a typical WWE plot, Vince McMahon thought where the Babyface is the one who fights for all who are been bullied.
Now Braun just needs to calm down." It must be remembered that Braun Strowman and Shaun McMahon will compete in a Steel Cage Match at Wrestlemania 37. After several weeks of being the victim of Shane McMahon's games, it appears possible that Braun Strowman has his revenge.
Vince Russo recently gave his take on Elias' position in WWE, stating that he felt WWE had damaged the latter's character too much with a lot of losses. Russo also gave his take on the storyline between Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman heading into WrestleMania.
Vince Russo on the Braun Strowman-Shane McMahon storyline
Over the course of this week and in general, in the last few weeks, there has been a wrestler repeatedly used as the sacrificial victim of Braun Strowman and ally of Shane McMahon but only to be destroyed.
The wrestler in question is Elias, who, even during the last episode of Monday Night Raw, was destroyed together with Jaxson Riker in a Handicap Match against Strowman. The character of Elias according to Vince Russo was subdued and the former creative talked about it in the course of the last episode of Legion of Raw.
Here are his statements about it: “Can Elias still be saved in WWE? I don't think, too much damage has been done. It's really sad because I know Elias, both him and Gunner (Jaxson Riker) and I know this was their dream.
It's like when you join a football team and never find the action on the pitch. It breaks my heart because this was their dream and in the end, to find each other like this is really rewarding." Vince Russo gave his take on the angle and called it a "typical" WWE storyline: "That is so typical Vince and WWE, the babyface fights for everyone that's ever been bullied.
Okay, alright Braun, settle down. Calm down, big fella." Braun Strowman will face Shane McMahon in a steel cage match at WrestleMania 37.
