One of the most important events awaited by all wrestling fans finally began on 10th April. We are obviously talking about Wrestlemania 37, a show that will see the return, after more than a year of absence, of the public in the stands, two evenings on 10 and 11 April, where we will find the best of Vince McMahon's company.

Opening the show, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, will be the WWE Championship match between champion Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath has the opportunity to recover what it did not have about a year ago: at Wrestlemania 36 it won the WWE Champion title against Brock Lesnar, but he did it without an audience, thus not having the opportunity to rejoice with his fans.

Now, after twelve months, he has a big chance and he'll do it in the show's opening match. Speaking of the match Drew said the following words: "Lashley-McIntyre will be a very physical and athletic match. It will be like a classic heavyweight match and I guarantee you people will talk about it for a long time in the future too."

Drew McIntyre on what fans can expect at WWE WrestleMania 37

Speaking on DAZN microphones with Steven Muehlhausen Drew McIntyre spoke thus about his behavior during this difficult pandemic era, here are his words: "It was really difficult, but it was a turning point for me.

Working at the Performance Center without fans wasn't easy and I took it as a challenge. There was pressure and my goal was to work for people to approach wrestling despite the distance. I know how to achieve my goals and I want to achieve them by conquering the public as well.

Sure, if he doesn't like it, I'll get it over with. At the same time, I can say that, sooner or later, Drew will have a great turn from Heel, I can't wait for this to happen." WrestleMania 37 won't be the first time that Drew McIntyre has locked horns with Bobby Lashley in a wrestling ring.

The two stars faced each other at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversay a couple of years ago and they also clashed for the WWE Championship at Backlash last year. Drew McIntyre revealed what fans can expect from his match with The All Mighty on Saturday night.

"Lashley-McIntyre will be highly physical and be highly athletic. It'll be like a modern-day heavyweight classic, and I guarantee you that people will be talking about it for a very long time."
