Andrade reveals his next destination after WWE

One of the many talents who left WWE in recent months, not being fired but asking for his release himself, is the real-life partner of Charlotte Flair, the former US Champion and NXT Champion of the company: Andrade. After months and months of absolute nothing, with the Mexican talent who had in fact been relegated to the backstage of the federation, after an attack arrived on-screen at the hands of the Fiend, with whom he had left the scene, for Andrade, there was no news about any possible involvement in a new company storyline.

For weeks and months, in fact, Andrade along with many other athletes (see Murphy, Bo Dallas and others), remained stationary without being able to perform on any of the company's television screens, due to an inexplicable lack of ideas on the part of the company's creative team.

Andrade was released by WWE

A press release and an appearance by Andrade confirmed that the WWE Queen's boyfriend will appear on the June 19 show of the Mexican company, simply called Federacion Wrestling PPV. For the evening, Andrade will team up with RUSH, Bestia Del Ring and a surprise partner, against Matt Taven, PJ Black and two other surprise wrestlers.

Apparently, this does not appear to be the first big announcement for Andrade's future, since last week, there was already the announcement of the match between Alberto Del Rio and Andrade, in a one on one dispute for the next one.

July 31st, in the rings of the Nacion Lucha Libre. To all intents and purposes, this match with Federacion Wrestling will be Andrade's very first on-screen engagement after the dissolution of his contract with WWE, which as is evident, did not even have the 90-day non-competition clause, which seems to be present in almost all contracts of the McMahon-owned federation.

Andrade's final WWE match came on the October 12, 2020, episode of RAW in a losing effort against Angel Garza. His release request was initially rejected but was later accepted. Alberto Del Rio is one of the most controversial beings in all of pro-wrestling and the idea of him facing Andrade probably wouldn't sit well with the latter's fans.

Del Rio last wrestled way back in 2019. He teamed up with L.A. Park to take on Carlito and El Mesias in a winning effort. The match in question will see Andrade, RUSH, Bestia Del Ring, and a surprise partner take on Matt Taven, PJ Black, and two surprise opponents. The event will go down on June 19th on pay-per-view.
