WWE legend takes a shot at The Fiend

Bray Wyatt The Fiend is certainly one of the most particular characters of the WWE and in this moment of Monday Night Raw. With his 'supernatural' appearance and his ways, all the fans of the WWE Universe have fallen in love with the wrestler as scary as he is popular.

It must be said, however, that both insiders and fans of the company did not appreciate Bray Wyatt's defeat to Legend Killer Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 37. The two held a feud lasting several months that ended with the victory of the 14 times WWE champion, but this situation has highlighted how the role of the scary demon is more marginal every day and even that aura of fear that you had at the beginning with The Fiend is slowly disappearing.

Jim Cornette on The Fiend

In recent weeks, many criticisms have come to the character of Bray Wyatt The Fiend, the latest in chronological order is that of pro wrestling legend Jim Cornette who has harshly attacked the character of The Fiend to the microphones of Jim Cornette's Drive Thru: "Everything that is characterizing The Fiend is the worst.

In the last year or let's say two years in the end only 50% really involves The Fiend while in reality we only see the rest which is garbage. They are stupid puppets that come out of nowhere, black liquid that comes out of nowhere.

One is killed and then resurrected. Well, this is not wrestling, The Fiend would never consider it except for a mental institution. Then I think about the cartoons and everything about the Firefly Fun House, all of which ridicules WWE."

At Wrestlemania 37 Bray Wyatt The Fiend lost to Randy Orton also thanks to the 'distraction' caused by Alexa Bliss, adept of The Fiend, who recently seems to have isolated herself from her former mentor. On Monday Night Raw the two recently talked about what happened but never came to the fight.

Bray Wyatt came back on the road to WrestleMania 37 and aided Bliss in defeating Orton. The Viper had the last laugh, though, as he defeated Wyatt at The Show of Shows. This wasn't the first time Wyatt had lost to Orton at WrestleMania.

Orton had previously defeated Wyatt for the WWE title at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. There have been several big-time matches involving The Fiend that wasn't well-received by the WWE Universe. His Hell In A Cell outing with Seth Rollins, both WrestleMania encounters with Orton, and his squash loss to Goldberg last year, are a few examples. His supernatural elements haven't been a big hit with a lot of fans as well.
