Mansoor Signs with WWE RAW and Issues Title Challenge

Mansoor recently became a WWE RAW member as he signed the RAW Brand. On the recent RAW episode, we saw Adam Pearce sign Mansoor and welcome him to the RAW Family. However, they were immediately interrupted by Shamus, who currently holds the WWE United States Title.

Sheamus then wanted Mansoor to challenge him during his Open Challenge. Mansoor challenged Shaemus but Humberto Carrillo appeared out of nowhere to attack Sheamus. This resulted in their feud continuing. However, the match ended in a disqualification.

The segment ended after Sheamus hit Mansoor and Humberto with Brogue Kicks.

Mansoor Signs a RAW Contract and Carries His Undefeated Streak

Mansoor appeared on RAW after having a 49 match win streak on WWE TV. He won mostly singles and multi-man matches.

His latest victory before this match was in April during a WWE Main Event show, where he beat Akira Tozawa. He failed to win a Battle Royal event that was held on the 24th of August at a WWE NXT event in Tampa. That match was won by Omos.

He also lost a live event match to T-BAR and lost one match on TV to Damian Priest in NXT. Mansoor started his professional wrestling career with WWE in 2018. He was the first Saudi wrestler to compete at WWE. Mansoor was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He was part of the 7 wrestlers that WWE tried out before the 2018 Great Royal Rumble event. He made his first appearance on WWE TV in September 2018. He lost to Jaxson Ryker that day. His biggest win came when he won the 51-Man Battle Royal at the Super Showdown event.

He followed that by defeating Cesaro at a Crown Jewel event. Mansoor went on to make his WWE 205 debut in November 2019. He fought and won his match against Brian Kendric. At Super Showdown 2020, he defeated Dolph Ziggler, who currently holds the Smackdown Tag Team Title.

WWE has used him regularly on Main Event and 205. However, it looks like he won’t be appearing on those shows anymore since he is now part of the main roster. WWE still has not released plans on how they will use him.

They may even choose not to use his winning streak as part of the storyline. According to a recent report, WWE wishes to keep Mansoor’s streak alive to please their partners in Saudi Arabia. WWE also plans on visiting the Kingdom soon with a special event.
