Former WWE Champion destroys Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is considered by many to be one of the most important personalities in the world of wrestling, but not everyone said they were happy to have worked with him or agreed in the judgment that is given towards the creator of Hulkamania.

In particular, his skills in the ring have often been criticized, as did former WWF champion Sycho Sid, also known as Sid Vicious, who fought a match with Hogan in WrestleMania VIII, known for a final extremely negative.

Sycho Sid slams Hulk Hogan

Speaking to Highspots Wrestling Network, Sycho Sid admitted this deficit of the wrestling legend, as well as clarifying how his work in wrestling was dictated only by the desire to make money and not by passion.

Here is an excerpt of his words: "Every night that something from WWF aired, it was something spectacular, but speaking of any WrestleMania night, I didn't already remember going to WrestleMania a year later. For me it was nothing more than a question of money, I didn't care about the booking, the location and so on.

No, I don't want anyone to get mad at me. but I wasn't there as a wrestling fan. I've never watched wrestling, I've never bought a wrestling magazine, it was really all about the money. Many times I also have to admit that various wrestlers wanted to work with me only and only because they were afraid of being booed, and they knew that working with me would not be like that.

When I think about the night of the match with Hulk Hogan, I don't think I'm telling the world at all that it was my favorite night of the year or anything like that. For me, it was a night with a horrible match with Hogan, a really horrible worker."

When asked about his match with Hulk Hogan at WWE WrestleMania VIII, Sid said it was horrible and Hogan was not a very good wrestler. "Well yeah [there was more money for WrestleMania] but the thing is you don’t see that money for three months so you don’t think about that dude," he added.

"Yeah, I turned down more money than I was getting there. It was okay. It was nothing that I’m gonna say it was my favorite night of the year or anything like that. It was a horrible match with [Hulk] Hogan that night too. Hogan was a horrible worker so that’s what made that."
