Since his return to WWE in the edition of SummerSlam in 2020 Roman Reigns has become the ruler of the WWE and especially of Friday Night Smackdown where he has been holding the title for months now. There are many wrestlers who tried to get in his path and were punctually paved, the last was Daniel Bryan who in the last episode of Friday Night Smackdown was shot down by the Tribal Chief and officially kicked out of the company's blue show (we know all now the contractual question of the Yes Man).

The company's Big Dog scored big wins over Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan and Edge. WWE Universal Champion's next opponent is rumored to be Cesaro, but WWE Reigns and Mad Genius advisor Paul Heyman seems to be of another opinion.

Speaking to the microphones of DAZN, the well-known manager spoke thus about the future of the Swiss wrestler.

Paul Heyman on Cesaro

Here are his words: "Even though I like to see him at SmackDown and can't imagine what Raw can offer in return, the only hope for Cesaro to win the world title of a show is to go to Raw because that way he would become WWE Champion and not take away any titles.

to Roman Reigns. We must be clear, this is what will not happen." Continuing to send the message to Cesaro Heyman he said: "I think he can set his sights on the Intercontinental Champion title, Apollo Crews are doing well but I think he could take his chances.

It is an interesting level match with two wrestlers who are not at the level of Roman Reigns." In recent months Paul Heyman has been releasing several times, also at Talking Smack, that continues to highlight the storyline with Roman Reigns, dominator of SmackDown and WWE and this week he was remembered like this.

Just last week at Talking Smack, which Heyman hosts with Kayla Braxton, the Mad Genius revealed that Roman Reigns gave important advice to Apollo Crews before he took the title of Intercontinental Champion. At that point, Cesaro smiled and grabbed Paul Heyman’s hand for the next 40 seconds.

Without saying a word, The Swiss Superman let go of Heyman’s hand before walking off the Talking Smack set. Cesaro previously worked as Paul Heyman’s on-screen client in WWE from April 2014 to July 2014. Heyman’s promos during his alliance with Cesaro often revolved around Brock Lesnar. At the time, Lesnar was taking a break from WWE television after defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30.
