From the day Roman Reigns returned to WWE in his new role as Tribal Chief, one of the most intriguing encounters that both WWE Universe insiders dream of is the challenge against The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. On the one hand, we find the WWE Universal Champion and on the other, a wrestler currently absent from the WWE ring and in general from the world of wrestling since the defeat against Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 36.
Both wrestlers have an important common element in the course of their domain in WWE, namely former Lesnar Manager and current Big Dog Advisor, WWE Mad Genius Paul Heyman. Many underline how this can be a further element to bring the two world wrestling champions to the challenge.
Mantell on Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman
During the last episode of Sportkeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk, the former legend of the world of wrestling Dutch Mantell talked about the latest regarding the current WWE Universal Champion and the possible return to WWE of Brock Lesnar.
Here are his statements: "I'm going to talk about an interesting thought I had. Whenever Roman Reigns is interviewed, the interviews are very serious and he always appears immersed in his thoughts. Behind the camera he goes forward and shows Heyman watching Reigns, watching him in a particular way and thinking about some situation.
Maybe it's my idea but I think Brock Lesnar will be back soon and Paul Heyman will betray the current champion and team up with Brock Lesnar." Brock Lesnar's contract has long since expired but in recent weeks the rumors about a possible return to Vince McMahon's company are increasing very soon.
Roman Reigns is currently engaged in a new feud with Cesaro, who officially became his rival tonight for the title that he could possibly face at Wrestlemania Backlash. At Smackdown Cesaro faced Seth Rollins and thanks to the victory won today he will have the opportunity to challenge Reigns for the title in the next Pay per View of the McMahon company.
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell was happy with how WWE booked The Usos last night on SmackDown. Speaking on Sportskeeda's SmackTalk, Dutch Mantell said that he was a fan of how WWE had booked The Usos on last night's episode of WWE SmackDown.
The Usos were at ringside for Seth Rollins' match against Cesaro. We later got to see some tension between Jimmy Uso and the Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns came out at the end of last night's episode of WWE SmackDown, looking to address the tension between himself and The Usos. However, things didn't go according to plan for Reigns and the crew as they got laid out by Cesaro.
