Kurt Angle recalls being on the road with a young Randy Orton

Randy Orton has been the author of an evident process of change since the beginning of his career and has now become one of the most respected and admired athletes in the WWE backstage. In fact, The Viper is also playing the role of a mother hen in favor of the younger superstars on the roster.

Recently, Mansoor thanked him for his help calling him a kind and helpful person to others. The Legend Killer has not always been like this, indeed his colleagues had often accused him of selfishness and pride in his early years with the WWE.

Host of the latest edition of the 'Kurt Angle Show', the former Olympic gold medalist told an unprecedented story about Orton himself.

Randy Orton recently appeared on the Kurt Angle Show

“I remember traveling with Randy Orton on the day we were supposed to perform in Florida, but I took a wrong turn and went to Georgia.

In the end, we arrived an hour and a half late, which made Randy very nervous. The door was closed when we showed up there, but Orton kicked it down and broke the window. He had to pay an 800 dollar fine for that gesture” - recalled Kurt Angle.

The latter has had to deal with countless injuries during his career, also linked to his very expensive fighting style. Kurt recalls his first WWE crisis in 2006: “I was in bad shape due to my physical problems. In a short period of time, I had injured my neck, shoulder and abdomen.

I had a torn abdominal muscle, an inflamed knee, and the groin muscle was bothering me. Even painkillers didn't help me get better. My relationship with Vince McMahon got more and more stormy, our phone calls were really on.

I felt out of control at that time in my life." Randy Orton had a very entertaining match against The Fiend on Night One of WrestleMania 37. WWE had been building up the match since their Firefly Inferno match at TLC.

The match was entertaining and added to the intrigue surrounding the character of The Fiend. However, Orton's performance in the match was not appreciated by every viewer. The Viper revealed that his actions in the match had led to some heat between himself and his youngest child.

He spoke about this and more on The Kurt Angle Show. "As far as being scared, I'm not really sure. I think the youngest one was more upset and I'm talking about WrestleMania that I didn't wave back. I got a video, I think Kim posted it on Instagram. Usually like I'll give them a little love."
