*Spoiler* Zombies made an appearance at WrestleMania Backlash

The news is incredible, but apparently, it is anything but false, since those who have had the opportunity to see WrestleMania Backlash live, would have immediately noticed that there was something strange in the airing of the PPV, already for a backstage segment with Miz and Morrison, during the course of the evening.

The two athletes were in fact engaged in a match with Damian Priest, former NXT athlete, who is now inauspicious with the two heels of Monday Night Raw from the Royal Rumble and who also challenged and beat them in Wrestlemania 37, alongside Bad Bunny.

The match in question was a Lumberjack match, in which The Miz went to face Priest, with John Morrison who instead should have stayed at the corner of the Awesome One, in the company of various other wrestlers at the ringside, who could attack whoever got out of the ring, immediately sending them back into the square.

As we said, already in a backstage segment, Miz and Morrison were framed talking about an allegedly invented zombie attack, with the federation cameras that after a few seconds, however, went to frame a real wave of undead, within the same backstage.

The sensational thing then came with the match in question, when the zombies arrived to do the famous Lumberjacks, who surrounded the ring, also taking Morrison and going to devour him behind the barricades placed at the ringside, where the ThunderDome panels begin.

After a dispute marked by zombies and their attacks, with Miz and Priest who also had to hit several of them at ringside, in order not to be devoured, the match was won by the former NXT archer, who then left the lifeless body of Miz to the crowd of undead, who started devouring him in the ring, making him disappear into thin air.

A decidedly daring choice that of the WWE, which obviously has already received harsh criticism from its fans, who have found this choice too childish and too surreal, especially given the post-match starring The Miz and the zombies.

AEW star Chris Jericho has tweeted out his reaction to a bunch of zombies making an appearance at WWE WrestleMania Backlash. Damian Priest took on The Miz in a Lumberjack match at tonight's event. The contest was later changed to a Zombies Lumberjack match and the WWE Universe was left stunned.

The match eventually happened and a bunch of zombies acted as lumberjacks during the whole affair. The zombies devoured John Morrison and The Miz in the end. Needless to say, the entire match was met with a negative reaction on social media.
