Asuka is a Japanese wrestler signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw roster.

Asuka began her professional wrestling career in 2005, at Atoz, staying there until her first retirement in 2006. She returned to wrestling in 2008, freelancing for companies such as Joshi Women Puroresu, Japan Ladies Pro- Wrestling and the Reina Joshi Puroresu. In 2015 she signed a contract with the US WWE.

In WWE she held the NXT Women's Championship once, setting the record for longest reign in the history of the title at 523 days, the SmackDown Women's Championship once, the Raw Women's Championship twice and the Women's Tag Team Championship three times. with Alexa Bliss and Kairi Sane and Charlotte Flair. She also won the inaugural Women's Royal Rumble and the Mixed Match Challenge as well as the Women's Money in the Bank.
