Austin Theory is an American wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw roster and is the current holder of the United States Championship.
In his career he has won the United States Championship twice and the 2022 edition of Money in the Bank.
On the March 30, 2019 episode of Raw, Theory debuted on the show teaming with Angel Garza and Seth Rollins in a defeat by Kevin Owens and the Raw Tag Team Champions, the Street Profits. On the April 5 second night of WrestleMania 36, Theory and Garza faced The Street Profits for the Raw Tag Team Championship but were defeated. On the April 6 episode of Raw, Theory and Garza faced The Street Profits again for the Raw Tag Team Championship, but were defeated by disqualification.
On the April 18 episode of Raw, Theory defeated Finn Bálor to capture the United States Championship, his first title in WWE. On the May 9 episode of Raw, he was defeated by Cody Rhodes via disqualification, still retaining the US belt. On the May 30 Raw, he intervened in the match between Ciampa and Mustafa Ali causing the latter to win by disqualification, and shortly after faced him and defeated to retain the title. Subsequently, on June 5, at Hell in a Cell, he again prevailed over Ali retaining the title.
On July 2, at Money in the Bank, he lost the title to Bobby Lashley after 75 days of reign, but later in the evening he entered the Money in the Bank Ladder match which also included Drew McIntyre, Madcap Moss, Omos, Riddle, Seth Rollins and Sheamus by winning the fight and the briefcase.
On November 26, 2022, at Survivor Series WarGames, he regained the United States Championship for the second time by defeating Seth Rollins in a triple threat match which also included Bobby Lashley. He also successfully defended the title at Elimination Chamber in the namesake match which also included Damian Priest, Johnny Gargano, Montez Ford and Seth Rollins. He managed to eliminate the latter with the help of Logan Paul in the finale.
