Triple H

Paul Michael Levesque, formerly known by the ring name Triple H, is a minority shareholder as well as executive vice president of WWE, in which he also appears as COO and is the head of the creative team of the federation.

He began his career in the International Wrestling Federation, as Terra Ryzing, before joining World Championship Wrestling in 1994. where he became Jean-Paul Lévesque, a snobbish French-Canadian aristocrat. Switching to the World Wrestling Federation, he changed his ring name to Hunter Hearst Helmsley, who later shortened his name to Triple H and formed D-Generation X, a group of irreverent rebels against the system. headed by himself and Shawn Michaels.

After the disbandment of D-X, he had a big push as a main eventer winning numerous singles titles and then took part in a storyline that saw him marry Stephanie McMahon, daughter of Vince, who later became his wife in real life as well.

In 2003, he formed another faction known as Evolution with Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton and then reformed D-X in 2006 and 2009; in mid-2013, he formed The Authority, a group made up of top executives, like himself and his wife, as well as numerous wrestlers, and intent on doing whatever is deemed best for the business.

He held a total of twenty-four titles and most notably is a fourteen-time world champion, having won the WWF/E Championship nine times and the World Heavyweight Championship five times; he also won the 1997 edition of the King of the Ring tournament, the Royal Rumble (ed. 2002 and ed. 2016) and was the winner of the Grand Slam Championship. Outside of wrestling, he appeared in the film Blade: Trinity and other film and television productions.
