Finn Bálor is an Irish wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw roster. In WWE Bálor is a three-time world champion having won the Universal Championship once and the NXT Championship twice. He also won the Intercontinental Championship twice, the United States Championship once and the inaugural Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2015 with Samoa Joe.

Devitt is also remembered for his long militancy in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he was the founder and leader of the Bullet Club. After training, Devitt made his debut in 2000, at the age of eighteen, in NWA UK Hammerlock, where he would later win the NWA British Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship. After finishing his studies, his wrestling career began to take off, wrestling in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. In 2002 he co-founded NWA Ireland with Paul Tracey.

Before pursuing a career in wrestling, he played football and Gaelic football. He is a Tottenham Hotspur fan and said in an interview that he reacted badly when Paul Gascoigne left the London team to join Lazio, which he said he was sympathetic to since the English midfielder started playing for them.

As a child, he was a fan of World of Sport and cites favorite wrestlers Davey Boy Smith, Dynamite Kid and Shawn Michaels as his favorite wrestlers. On August 24, 2019, he married Fox sports reporter Veronica Rodriguez in a private ceremony.
