Johnny Gargano is an American wrestler of Italian descent signed to WWE, where he performs on the Raw roster.

He played in the most important wrestling federations in the American independent scene, such as Dragon Gate USA, Absolute Intense Wrestling, Evolve, Chikara and others, before making his debut in WWE in the summer of 2015, specifically in NXT, during the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament teamed with Tommaso Ciampa, together with #DIY, with whom he also held the NXT Tag Team Championship once, while in singles he won the NXT Championship once and the NXT North American Championship three times (record). With his NXT Championship win in 2019, Gargano became NXT's first Triple Crown winner.

He officially debuted in 2005 wrestling for CAPW, he began to self-define his Lucharesu wrestling style, a sort of mix between classic British wrestling, lucha libre and puroresu.

Since September 16, 2016 he has been married to colleague Candice LeRae, with whom he has a son, Quill Lewis Gargano.
