Sonya Deville

Daria Rae Berenato, better known by the ring name Sonya Deville is a wrestler, former mixed martial artist and former American judoka of Italian origins under contract with WWE, where she performs on the Raw roster.

On October 28, she signed a contract with WWE, being sent to the developmental territory of NXT. Her debut takes place on December 30 in a house show, where she fights under her real name, being defeated by Nia Jax. Her first television appearance took place on the August 17, 2016 episode of NXT where she, Alexa Bliss and Mandy Rose defeated Carmella, Liv Morgan and Nikki Glencross, establishing herself as a heel.

During the first episode of the last season of WWE Tough Enough, she publicly declared her homosexuality.

On August 16, 2020 she was the victim of an attempted kidnapping by a stalker inside her home, in which she was with her colleague Mandy Rose. According to what was reported by F4WOnline and other American sources, the stalker, whose name is Phillip A. Thomas, would have entered Berenato's house armed, breaking a glass door and setting off the alarm, thanks to which the wrestler she would have noticed the intruder and would have managed to escape with her colleague, subsequently calling 911. The attacker was then arrested.
