
Adam Cole, real name Austin Jenkins, was born in Lancaster, July 5, 1989.
Cole wrestled in WWE from 2017 to 2021 exclusively on the NXT roster, capturing the NXT Championship once, whose reign of 396 days is the longest long in the history of the title, the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship, with Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong of the Undisputed Era. He also won the third edition of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, with Kyle O'Reilly, and is the second wrestler to complete the NXT Triple Crown.
Before joining WWE in 2017, he spent ten years on the North American independent circuit and in various promotions such as Combat Zone Wrestling and Ring of Honor, where he won the ROH World Championship three times and the ROH World Television Championship once.
Jenkins began wrestling for Combat Zone Wrestling, enrolling in the school of DH Hyde and Jon Dahmer. On November 14, 2007, he became an official student of the school and made his debut on June 21, 2008, teaming with The Reason, losing to Joe Gacy and Alex Colon.
On September 5, 2021, he made his All Elite Wrestling debut during All Out, reuniting with his former Bullet Club teammates Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.
