Tessa Blanchard

Tessa Blanchard is remembered for her time in Impact Wrestling, where she became the first woman in history to capture the men's heavyweight title. Tessa Blanchard made her first WWE appearance on the April 13, 2016 episode of NXT, where she was defeated by Alexa Bliss. On the May 5 episode of NXT, Tessa was defeated by Nia Jax.

On the June 15 episode of NXT, Tessa was defeated by Carmella. Blanchard participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic on July 13, 2017, where she was eliminated on August 28 in the first round by Kairi Sane, who went on to win the tournament. On September 11, Tessa teamed further with Jazzy Gabert and Kay Lee Ray to defeat Marti Belle, Santana Garrett and Sarah Logan.

Blanchard remains inactive for some time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, living in Mexico with her partner, but not contributing with her the material that had been requested by the company.

On June 25, it was announced that Tessa Blanchard was released from Impact Wrestling five days before the expiration of the contract, having the Impact World Championship withdrawn after 165 days of reign, after the two parties could not find an agreement, thus abandoning the federation.
