Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal is a Canadian wrestler of Indian descent signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT roster. Dhesi is the only Indian-born wrestler in WWE history to have won the WWE Championship and the United States Championship.
Jinder Mahal is the nephew of Gama Singh, considered one of the greatest heels in the history of Stampede Wrestling.

In 2008 he graduated in communication of cultures at Calgary University; In addition to English, he also knows Hindi and Punjabi.

After working briefly for the Hybird Wrestling Coalition, he made his Stampede Wrestling debut in 2005 alongside his cousin Gama Singh, with whom he won the Stampede International Tag Team Championship and held it for about eight months.

Mahal made a surprise return to NXT on the special episode NXT New Year's Evil on January 10, 2023 by attacking the Creed Brothers along with Sanga of Indus Sher; a little later, moreover, Mahal defeated Julius Creed. On the February 21 episode of NXT, Mahal faced Bron Breakker for the NXT Championship but was defeated. On the March 7 episode of NXT Roadblock, Mahal and Indus Sher were defeated by Bron Breakker and the Creed Brothers. On the March 28 episode of NXT, Mahal took part in a battle royal for a seat to the NXT North American Championship match at NXT Stand & Deliver but was eliminated by Axiom.
