
Nicholas Harry Aldis, better known by his ring name Nick Aldis is an English professional wrestler.
He is best remembered for his stints between 2008 and 2015 in Total Nonstop Action, where he held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship once and the TNA World Tag Team Championship twice.
In November 2008, Aldis signed a contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and on December 11, TNA aired promos anticipating his debut under the ring name Brutus Magnus and the modern gladiator gimmick.
He had his first match on January 22, 2009 at a house show in Glasgow, Scotland where he defeated Matt Morgan.
Magnus' television debut came on the February 5, 2009 episode of iMPACT! where he defeated Shark Boy and made his pay-per-view debut at Against All Odds where he defeated Chris Sabin and, in the following month, won against Eric Young at Destination X.
Nicholas Aldis has been married since 2015 to colleague Mickie James, with whom he has a son named Donovan.
