
Peter Thomas England, or Pete Dunne, is a British wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown roster under the ring name Butch.
In WWE he held the WWE United Kingdom Championship once, the NXT Tag Team Championship once, with Matt Riddle, and the fifth edition of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2020, also with Matt Riddle.
England started training in 2005 at the age of 12 and made his debut in 2007. Since then, he has worked extensively across the UK for promotions such as Progress Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling, Insane Championship Wrestling, Fight Club : Pros and Attack! Pro Wrestling, a promotion he co-founded. In addition to the UK, England has worked internationally in Germany with Westside Xtreme Wrestling, the US with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Japan with Michinoku Pro Wrestling.
Dunne is vegan for ethical reasons. Dunne, Mark Andrews and Eddie Dennis are co-founders of Defend Indy Wrestling, an apparel line designed specifically for independent wrestling fans. Inspired by the DEFEND Pop Punk message propagated by the American band Man Overboard, the trio created the brand in 2011, producing T-shirts, sweatshirts and other accessories.
