Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is an American wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown roster.

He is a three-time world champion, having won the WWE Championship once and the World Heavyweight Championship twice. He also held the Intercontinental Championship twice, the United States Championship twice, the Cruiserweight Championship three times (eight when counting five reigns in WCW), the WWE Tag Team Championship four times (once each with Batista, Edge, Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam), a one-time SmackDown Tag Team Championship (with his son Dominik) and also won the 2006 Royal Rumble match.

He was the fourteenth wrestler in WWE history to complete the Grand Slam (new format) and the twenty-first to complete the Triple Crown. Before joining WWE, he played in Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling.

Coming from a family dedicated to lucha libre, he wore a mask from 1989 to 1999 and then resumed it in 2002, the color of which changes from time to time, and contact lenses matched to the chrome of the suit worn.

Rey Mysterio has several tattoos on his body, including his wife's and children's names under his biceps, as well as the word Mexican on his abdomen and a stylized spine running across his back.

His eldest son, Dominik (born April 5, 1997), is also a professional wrestler signed to WWE, and was the protagonist of the feud against Eddie Guerrero in 2005, which culminated in a Ladder match at SummerSlam for his custody, who was eight years old at the time. Rey's second daughter, Aalyah, was born in 2001. He acted as Freddy Krueger's stunt double in a scene from the movie Freddy vs. Jason.
