Trinity McCray is best known for her stint in WWE from 2009 to 2022 under the ring name Naomi, where she held the SmackDown Women's Championship twice and the Women's Tag Team Championship once, with Sasha Banks.
On September 3, 2009, she signed a developmental deal with WWE and was sent to Florida Championship Wrestling. She makes her debut under the name Naomi Knight. She debuted on October 29 teaming with Alex Riley, losing to AJ and Brett DiBiase.
After a short absence, Naomi made her return to action on January 31, 2021, at the Royal Rumble, participating in the women's match of the same name entering with number 2 and being eliminated by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. After a brief and unsuccessful alliance with Lana, Naomi returned to SmackDown in August 2021. Subsequently, Naomi teamed up with Sasha Banks and the two managed to conquer the Women's Tag Team Championship on April 3, on the second night of WrestleMania 38, prevailing over the champions Carmella and Queen Zelina in a four-way match that also included Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley and Natalya and Shayna Baszler.
On the May 16 episode of Raw, however, Naomi and Sasha left the show before the live broadcast due to a backstage dispute with Vince McMahon and other staff, which effectively blocked their appearances with the consequent deprivation of the women's tag titles , made vacant.
Following Sasha's departure in early 2023, Naomi confirmed she left the company in late March. She has been married to colleague Jimmy Uso since 2014.
