Adeel Alam, better known by his ring name Mustafa Ali is a Pakistani-born American professional wrestler signed to WWE.
Alam is the first Pakistani-born wrestler to have played in WWE. Ali has wrestled in several independent promotions since 2003 such as Dreamwave Wrestling (where he won the Dreamwave Alternative Championship and Dreamwave Heavyweight Championship once), All American Wrestling, Freelance Wrestling, GALLI Lucha Libre, IWA Mid-South, Jersey All Pro Wrestling , National Wrestling Alliance and Proving Ground Pro.
In 2022, after months without making an appearance, Ali publicly asked on Twitter to leave WWE, but was unsuccessful. Ali then returned on the April 25 episode of Raw as a face facing and defeating The Miz, but at the end of the match he was attacked by Ciampa.
On the May 30 Raw, Ali then defeated Ciampa by disqualification due to Theory's attack, thus obtaining a title opportunity for the latter's United States Championship; this was granted to him shortly after but, despite everything, Ali lost the match, failing the assault on the US title. Subsequently, on June 5, at Hell in a Cell, Ali faced Theory again for the United States belt but was again defeated.
Ali then appeared on SmackDown on the November 18 to face Ricochet in the quarterfinals of the SmackDown World Cup but was defeated. On the March 31 episode of SmackDown, Ali entered the annual André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal but was eliminated.
On April 29, 2023, as a result of the Draft, Ali became a free agent.
