Billy Gunn

Billy Gunn, pseudonym of Monty Kip Sopp is an American wrestler and powerlifter signed to All Elite Wrestling, where in addition to wrestling, he plays the roles of head coach and producer.

During his career he wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling and on the independent circuit.

Gunn won the WWF/E Tag Team Championship ten times with three different partners, three with Bart Gunn, with whom he formed the Smoking Gunns, and two with Chuck Palumbo in the tag team Billy and Chuck. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship once and the WWF Hardcore Championship twice, and was also the winner of the 1999 King of the Ring, and in 2019, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, as a member of D-Generation X.

He married first wife Tina Tinnell on March 3, 1990 and the couple had two sons: Colten (1991) and Austin (1994), also professional wrestlers. The couple separated in January 2000 and their divorce was finalized on December 11, 2002. On January 24, 2009, he remarried to Paula.

In November 1990, he was arrested in Florida for disturbing the peace.
