Carmella is a Dutch-born American wrestler and model signed to WWE, where she performs on the Raw roster. She held the SmackDown Women's Championship once and the 24/7 Championship four times, the Women's Tag Team Championship once with Queen Zelina. she also won the first ever Women's Money in the Bank, the second annual Mixed Match Challenge with R-Truth and the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal held at WrestleMania 35.
Leah Van Dale - her real name - was born in a small town outside Worcester, Massachusetts. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island and later she transferred to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she majored in marketing.
After graduating, she became a cheerleader for the New England Patriots for three terms, ending in 2010. She auditioned for the Los Angeles Lakers dance team, being cast, appearing as a Los Angeles Laker Girl from 2010 to 2011. Van Dale she has been featured in several magazines, including Esquire, Maxim and Muscle and Fitness.
In the past she was a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Leah Van Dale is the daughter of Paul Van Dale, a former wrestler who worked for the World Wrestling Federation during the nineties. She is married to former Raw wrestler and commentator Corey Graves. The two got married on April 8, 2022.
