Buddy Murphy is an Australian wrestler signed to All Elite Wrestling where he performs as Buddy Matthews. He is a member of the House of Black and the current holder of the AEW World Trios Championship with Malakai Black and Brody King.

Between 2013 and 2021 he played under the ring name Buddy Murphy in WWE, a federation in which he once held the Cruiserweight Championship, the Raw Tag Team Championship with Seth Rollins and the NXT Tag Team Championship with Wesley Blake.

One of Adams' first matches occurred on September 8, 2007 in Professional Championship Wrestling where he and Jacko Lantern defeated Adam Brooks and Diaz. On December 3, 2010, Silva won his first title, the PCW State Championship, by defeating Danny Psycho. Following this, Silva also won the MCW Heavyweight Championship by defeating Slex on January 28, 2012.

On February 23, 2022, he made his All Elite Wrestling debut, teaming up with Malakai Black and Brody King.

Matthew Adams was in a relationship with colleague Alexa Bliss from 2015 to 2018. He is currently in a romantic relationship with Rhea Ripley.
