Melina

Melina Nava Pérez, or Melina, is an American professional wrestler and model. In 2000, Pérez began training to be a professional wrestler at Jesse Hernandez's School of Hard Knocks and made her debut in 2002.

In late 2002, Pérez participated in the WWE reality show, Tough Enough, but was she was eliminated in the first round, and was inspired by Al Snow to pursue her career in wrestling. In March 2004, Pérez signed a contract with WWE and was assigned to her developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where she served as the manager of MNM (Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury).

Pérez captured the Women's Championship three times and the Divas Championship twice. Pérez is also known for her flexibility during her entrances and matches, and has been defined by Bret Hart as one of the best wrestlers in the world and in WWE for having the most impressive repertoire of offensive moves in the history of the federation.

Melina is of Mexican descent, and is bilingual, in fact she speaks English and Spanish fluently. She was in a long-term relationship with John Hennigan (Johnny Nitro / John Morrison) until their divorce in 2012. The two met during their auditions for Tough Enough III. At the end of her story with Morrison, Melina begins dating Dave Batista (who had just divorced his wife), and the two will have a short relationship.
