Velveteen Dream

Velveteen Dream (real name Patrick Clark Jr.) is primarily remembered for his stints between 2015 and 2021 in World Wrestling Entertainment, where he wrestled in the NXT developmental territory, winning the North American Championship once in a record reign lasting 231 days.

In the summer of 2015 Patrick Clark Jr. was announced among the six participants of the sixth season of the WWE reality show, Tough Enough, used by the Stamford federation to find two new wrestlers to sign; however Clark was eliminated in sixth place on the July 21, 2015 episode.

Patrick Clark Jr. made his WWE debut on the NXT roster on the July 20, 2016 episode, losing to Austin Aries. On October 19, he matched NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura but was rejected.

On the March 1, 2017 episode of NXT, he went under the ring name Velveteen Dream and defeated Sean Maluta. On the June 14 episode of NXT, Velveteen Dream defeated Raul Mendoza. On the June 28 episode of NXT, Velveteen Dream defeated HoHo Lun. On the July 26 episode of NXT, Velveteen Dream defeated Cezar Bononi, effectively turning heel after insulting the fans. On the September 14 episode of NXT, Velveteen Dream defeated Lio Rush.

On May 20, 2021 he was fired.
