Chad Lail, better known as Jaxson Ryker, is an American professional wrestler.

Between 2010 and 2015, he played in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the ring name Gunner, winning one time the TNA Television Championship and the TNA World Tag Team Championship. He later served in WWE from 2017 to 2021 as Jaxson Ryker.

After serving in the Iraq War with the Marine Corps as a machine gun, he signed a contract with NWA Anarchy under the ring name Phil Shatter. On August 18, 2007, Shatter defeated Ace Rockwell to capture the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship.

On the May 31, 2021 episode of Raw, Ryker was abandoned by Elias in the ring during a match against AJ Styles and Omos for the Raw Tag Team Championship, resulting in the loss of only Ryker, marking the end of their alliance.

The following week on Raw, Ryker attacked Elias and defeated him shortly after by count-out. After defeating Elias again by countout, Ryker ended the feud by defeating him again in a Strap match on the June 28 episode of Raw. Subsequently, Ryker was easily defeated by Karrion Kross, and after that he mostly appeared in the Main Event.

On November 18, Ryker was released from WWE, along with several other wrestlers.
