Lilian Garcia

Lilian Annette García is best remembered for being an announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment between 2000 and 2018.

Lilian García was born in Madrid to an American mother and a Puerto Rican father and she lived in the Spanish capital until the age of eight; she attended elementary school on a US military base, later describing herself as a Military Brat.

Lilian García was hired by the World Wrestling Federation as a ring announcer in 2000 and made her debut on the August 23 episode of Raw is War. Her first involvement in in-ring action came on September 13 of that same year when Jeff Jarrett applied the Figure Four Leglock to her for announcing her loss by disqualification to Luna Vachon.

García made her first appearance in the WWF on February 14, 2000 at a house show. Her first performance on a television show was on April 2, 2000 when she opened WrestleMania 2000 with the US national anthem. She received a standing ovation when she sang the anthem on the SmackDown! recorded after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The Diva's last appearance in a WWE ring dates back to the April 19, 2010 episode of Raw, where she replaced one night only Justin Roberts, stuck in Europe, along with other superstars, due to the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano.

She at WrestleMania XXVIII she opens the pay-per-view singing America the Beautiful. Following the release of Justin Roberts, she returned to Raw on October 20, 2014.
