Arn Anderson Reflects on WCW's Renegade Character

Wrestlers received different reactions from the fans that typically show their characters. It means whether they were heroes or villains from fans’ point of view.  But playing a villainous role does not always cut-and-dry especially when fans are cheering you and vice versa. 

Arn Anderson talked about the failure of WCE in order to sponsor the admiration of The Ultimate Warrior in WWE. At that time on “Arn” in 1995WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson made his place back in WCW. They later introduced The Renegade to their fans that was signed by WCW in 1998. 

Arm recalled the memories that it was the ultimate disappointment when all the trimmings were taken away from him because he was the person who was called back in and was going to be an ultimate combatant. “He was not at fault, he was not in the right situation, he was green till now, but no, oh God, that was a good event…., you are joking. In my point of view he was going to be another person who, being an ultimate warrior at that time, was a big star of the time.

Arn on Renegade's WCW Loss

For gaining victory in the WCW World Television Championship, at the Great American Bash in 1995, Arn Anderson was badly defeated by Renegade. As he moved forward, he got into a tale with Mr. Wonderful, in spite of being the heel Paul Orndorff was there when eventually cheering up and enjoying whether Renegade was not like this. According to Andreson, he paid his services in  WCW's booking committee and he would lose his title. To secure the title they had a short match to protect him. 

“I was requesting them badly to make a short change in my title history but they were like nope, nope, nope, and it continued. Anderson took an eye on Renegade's eight-minute match at Fall Brawl 1995 facing DDP as the opponent party. According to him, owing to the match the fans will be telling themselves the truth. He said that he tried his best to do good throughout the situation. No cigar at all.
