The WWE launched Gionna Daddio into its NXT development center in 2015. Marley entered the NXT spotlight during the November 4th episode of 2015 by competing against Eva Marie in a single match. She made her first steps into professional wrestling at this time.
Before becoming Marley Daddio made short WWE appearances as a security detail member and as NXT Takeover event interruptor during February 11, 2015 events. The start of her WWE career demonstrated her wrestling talent and predicted her future progress.
Rise to Prominence
She started full-time work with WWE's main roster in 2017 under her new Liv Morgan name. Morgan created The Riott Squad with Logan and Riott when she joined them on the WWE roster. These three stars created major rivalries in WWE and showed their wrestling skills at the top level.
Once The Riott Squad stopped performing in 2019 Morgan started recording solo songs. At the Money in the Bank 2022 event she achieved her main goal by claiming the contract. At the championship match Morgan showed exceptional decision-making skills by cashing her Money in the Bank contract to beat Ronda Rousey and become SmackDown Women's Champion the same night. She won her first singles title to become a leading performer at WWE.
Morgan came back to the WWE games in 2024 after resting for half a year by entering the Royal Rumble at spot 30 and nearly earned second place. She won the Women's World Championship title at King and Queen of the Ring where she beat Becky Lynch. Following her hiatus Morgan evolved her wrestling personality to include evil actions while teaming with Dominik Mysterio. Following this partnership she joined The Judgment Day faction to strengthen her control in WWE stories.
Morgan held the world title for 226 days before Rhea Ripley defeated her as the Raw premiere started on Netflix on January 6, 2025. WWE gained a major success in its new broadcasting pact through this match which brought many viewers and created new opportunities for bigger matches ahead.
As "Marley" began her WWE journey and later became their Women's World Champion Liv Morgan proved both her strength and ability to adapt. Her growth from a newcomer to top WWE performer shows how much she committed herself to her wrestling work.
